Clown Craze.

I am having a hard time at the moment with what is going on with all these people dressed up as clowns. I am finding it very hard as I am rally scared of clowns anyway. I cant go out in the dark on my own unless I'm with my partner due to fear of seeing them. I think it is really stupid as it spoils it for all the children. My kids don't even want to do Halloween this year as they are so scared.

My partner pointed out when we were talking about it that clowns are meant to be fun for the kids but because of what's going on it has scared them. This is not going to end good as there has already  been injuries and some have been badly beaten a child (13 year old boy) was badly hurt when he run in front of a moving car, he was wearing a clown mask but he had nothing to do with the craze, unfortunately the car driver hit him. He suffered head and wrist injuries.

How many more people are going to carry on doing this and keep getting hurt or even worse and die because of this stupid craze? It needs to stop so that all the children can stop being so scared and remember that they can like clowns again. I don't think it will as Halloween is coming up and they are getting reaction's from it.

This really needs to stop. It has got that stupid that now the kids isn't even allowed to go Trick or Treating and they have put a ban on all children not just young children, all ages. They have done this for their safety. They have really taken this to far and the police need to do more than what they are doing and that is nothing other than telling the public to stay safe.

I really wish there was something else they will do before someone gets hurt.

Making Handmade Cards.

I wanted to write a post about what my hobby is and why I love doing it so much. As you can probably tell by the title that I make my own greeting cards for any occasions. I love making cards as I find it very relaxing and rewarding not just for my self but for others. my mother-in-law was the one that got into it and at first I started off with just a few bits that I got for Christmas but now my collection has grown and I'm now doing different style cards.

I have made my own group on Facebook to sell them on to other people just to make a little extra for myself as well as to put towards buying more craft stuff for my collection. I am going to be making pop box soon as well as they look lovely and great for gifts. I never thought that I would be able to make anything really as I'm not very good at art or anything like that but it is really easy to do.

The other good thing about it is that you can buy craft stuff from your local poundland store or the range. There are great websites as well and they aren't badly price either. I can't see myself doing anything else now. I am going to buy storage for all my craft stuff as I am getting so much now.

I am now starting to make Christmas cards to give to family and friends. I'm also putting pictures on my group and I will gladly make it for them. I will keep you all updated with how it is all going and how I get on.

If you would like me to make a card for you or anyone else that's fine. My cards cost £3 and I accept PayPal as payment. I do add a bit on for postage but this may vary depending on the weight of the card(s).

I hope to speak to you all soon, until then I hope you enjoy my blogs.

Changing Bedroom Roumd.

So I thought that it would be a good idea to change the bedrooms around and swap rooms with the kids as the boys are in the small room and my little girl has the biggest room. So because the stuff has doubled in the boys room they really need to swap rooms. I thought that it would be easy and go to plan but my daughter doesn't want to give up her big room for a small room.

But she has to as the boys have out grown their bedroom and need the bigger room to put all their stuff in it. So we are going to change their rooms around and then they can make them there rooms. They can pick what they want to decorate them and we will do that for them.

I also wanted to change my room around as I thought that I wouldn't be able to do it, but after standing in my room and looking around I can change it and make it look bigger. I can't wait to see the results and how all the bedrooms will look when it's all done. I will upload pictures of the finished results.

Sorry For Not Blogging.

Hi everyone I know I haven't put up any blogs for a while but I've had so much going on with my children and, then my immersion heater has now decided to pack up so I'm left without any hot water until they manage to get me a new tank. Which can take up to 10 working days to 2 working weeks.

I am going to get myself back into the routine of blogging again. I have missed blogging as it gives me something to think about and get my feelings out into the open. I will be putting up blogs on a regular basis from now on. As they say "getting back into the swing of things".

I am sorry again and I will be getting back on track again. Sorry for the short post but just wanted to let you all know what was going on.

Let's Stop Bullying.

We see it all the time and we hope that it doesn't happen to our children but some time's it does and we are there for our children for them to talk to us and we can try and sort it out to stop it from happening again.

But why do people feel the need to bully? And it's nit just kids, it's adults as well. Bullies are horrible and they make other people's lives a living hell. The bullies don't know how they really hurt people and some can't take the bullying anymore and end up taking their own life's or the bullies go to far and end up killing them.

We have seen it all over social media just lately and what I have seen is totally disgusting and completely wrong. They are not like what bullies use to be like when I was younger, and they use to call you name's they have now started to use there hands, feet or whatever they can get hold of.

This needs to stop and the bullies needs to be named and shamed. I for one would not be happy if they were my children and they were doing that to other people. They are even doing it to disabled people including the elderly. Thus even happens in care home.

We think that our loved ones are safe and well looked after in these home's but they aren't and again they are recorded and put on social media. How can anyone do this to someone is beyond me. I was bullied when I was younger but not to the extent that they go to nowadays. It has gotten wrote as the years have gone on from children at school to babies that are very young to the elderly that can't fight back.

When will this stop and what's more how can we stop it? To many children, babies and elderly people are getting hurt and worse killed. What has this world come to?

Open Day At Southampton General hospital.

We had an open day at our hospital on the 24/09/2016 to show everyone behind the senses of what they do and the departments they work in. I took my children to it and they had so much fun. They got to sit on the emergency motorbikes. They got to see the intensive care unit ambulance as well as walking through a grant inflatable breast to look at the signs of knowing when to spot breast cancer.

They got to walked around the hospital and go into departments that they normally wouldn't be allowed to go into. They were very interested to find out what they do and how they find out what is going on with people DNA or even their cells. They even found out about dry ice and how it works. They even had fun with having a fake cast on which they loved and found it very funny.

They got to see a lot of the wards and how they help people and also how long they might have to stay there for. They also found out that on one of the wards they help little children fighting cancer and how they make them feel like they are at home for their time on the ward, they also have enough space to help with parents staying with the children.

We also found out how DNA is found in people and how they use it to help find things that may have or is in a family DNA. We also went to the children's outpatients ward where they found out what they do and where they take children to have their bloods taken.

The open day started at 11am and finished at 3pm. But in my opinion that wasn't long enough as there was so much to see and do and there wasn't enough time for the children or adults to have a look around.

We are hoping that they do it again next year as the children loved it and maybe we will see all the things we didn't get to see. But other than that the kids enjoyed it very much.

Here are some more pictures.

Thinking About Christmas.

We all need to think about Christmas and when it's the right time to start, am I starting to early. Some people like to start in the January sales which is fine ad you can get thing at a bargain price. Other people like to wait until it's closer to christmas as they start to drop prices and you can pick up a lot more for less money.

You can get some really good things for less money in most stores. Smyths does 2 for £15 on there toys, argos does 2 for £15 and 2 for £30 and toys r us also do lay way which is you pick what you want and pay a % of the total price then every week or month you pay what you want to pay.

As long as it's paid off 6 weeks before the end date of the lay way it's fine. Once the payment has been made you will take the goods home with you. There are other stores that does good quality toys like home bargains, b&m bargains and poundstretcher.

You can never start to early in fact starting early is good as you can speak it over the rest of the months ahead before everyone else start hitting the shops before the mad rush to get their gifts for everyone they are buying for.

Have a look around and compare prices before you buy as you may find the same thing somewhere else but cheaper and who don't want to save money?

The Internet is great for comparing prices and making a list also helps. You will be amazed by how much you will save and you will be happy with your results.

Making A Business From A Hobby.

We all have a talent that we are good at and we think about how we can make something from it and also to make a little bit for ourselves. It's very easy to do and you can findemnify plenty of video's on YouTube to help you.

I love to make handmade cards, some people make cakes, jewellery, dummy clips ect ect. I am thinking about selling some of my handmade cards for less than what they sell them on the shops. And that is something you will need to think about is your price.

You need to make them cheap for your customers otherwise they won't buy from you. The other thing you will need to think about is making sure that you don't fall in the "self employed". You won't be classed as "self employed" unless you pay someone to help you. You also don't come under "self employed" if you are selling something that is a hobby.

The good way to sell something is in a group or page on facebook also making a website for your products. Some websites you have to pay eachieve month a fee and there are others that do it for free. I would always do payments by PayPal, bank transfer or cash on collection. Always make sure that payment is made before the product has been sent or collected as that way you are covering yourself.

Always give a time line on when the order needs to be made by so that way you are giving yourself time to get anything that you made need and also time for you to make it. Always start off slow until you get enough intrest then you can start making it grow.

Remember people need to get to know you and trust you. Put pictures of your items to show your work. People will see you and start buying from you if the price is right. Also ask for feedback for other people who might buy from you so that they know its real and not fake.

I hope my advice helps you.

My Son And Medication

For a long time we have been trying to get our son the help that he so desperately deserves and after 10 long and hard years we finally got it. He has been on his medication now for 2 weeks and it has helped him so much.

We never thought that we would get it and we are thankful for the person that helped us and saw that our son needed extra help. Our son has ADHD and has had it for 10 years. He was diagnosed when he was 3 years old, he's now 13 years old and have been fighting against it for so long on his own.

He was so happy when he got his medication and the smile couldn't get any bigger on his face. The medication say they last for 12 hours but unfortunately they start to wear off at about 4pm. But thankfully we are getting another tablet for him to take when he comes home that will help him when we are out and about.

Having a child with ADHD isn't easy and no one tells you what help there is for you. You are left on your own and no one tells you where you can go for any advice or even a group or forum for people with ADHD or living with it.

If anyone of my readers knows of any forums that they know of please let me know as I would love to join them or if any of you know of any websites or places to go then please comment below.

I will keep you all updated on how he is going wit his medication and if I get any advice I will include it in my blog for any one else that is going through what we did.

I will say one thing though, if there is anone going through what we have and are on the edge of giving up don't and keep fighting coz it will pay off in the end. We nearly gave up loads of times but what made us keep fighting was watching our son go through something that wasn't in his control and it killegal us.

Your hard work will work.

Starting Slimming World.

For a long time I've been wanting to lose weight and doing on my own wasn't helping me or seeing a change, so I started looking for things I could do or places I could try.

So I started Slim Fast and that didn't help, I had done Weight Watchers in the past and again I didn't see any change so I stopped doing them.

My friends all started to talk about Slimming World and that they have joined their local groups and said that I should as well (if I wanted to).

At first I was in two minds as to join or not but then I started to see that my friends were getting results and their weight was going down, it really helped them.

So I started to look at information about it and asked any questions that I had. Then I found out later by one of the groups that really made me happy.

They often offer (in the women magazine) for free membership so all you had to pay is £4.95 per week.

If you couldn't get the offer them the membership would cost £5+£4.95. The £5 is a one off fee but you would need to pay £4.95 everytime you went.

I am going to join my local group and I'm hoping it will work for me as I would like to lose most of my weight before I go back to butlins in may 2017.

I will be happy if I can get down to a size 16-18 or 18-20 in clothes (not sure what that is in weight) but it will be a weight that o will be happy with.

My weight started to build up after having my children and then I ended up with gale stones and having to have my gale bladder taken out.

So the weight just started to build and build. I will keep an up-to-date weigh in every week and will keep you all informed how I'm finding the group.

I will let you all know what my weight is before I start Slimming World and keep my week-to-week weight and how much I have lost or gained.

I will also include recipes for you all. Until then, speak to you soon.

Potty Training.

Potty Training can be very hard and also scarey for the child as they have to get used to not wearing a nappy and remembering that they will need to ask to go to the toilet.
But it don't have to be and you can make it fun for them, so when they do go to the toilet (weather it's the potty or toilet) make them smile, laugh and show them what they have done. When they see a smile on your face you will see a smile on theirs.

For the first week I would say stay at home and do it so they are in their "safe place" and happy with their surroundings. Once they have managed going on a regularly take them to the next step and go outside. But try not to to crowed areas go to the local park or a playing field.

But remember to take a potty with you so they can go while they are out. There is no right age to start potty training your child and starting early could be a bonus for you but in other cases might not work.

I would always go on the child, and when they are ready, or start training them when they turn 3 years old as by this time they understand the word toilet and see you going to the toilet also makes them think that they can do it.

Another good way to teach them is to let them see you going so when you go to the toilet take them with you and let them sit in front of you while you go. It's also very good for them to watch daddy go to the toilet as well. You will notice this makes a difference.

Also make an award chart for them and for every day they go to the toilet or either on the potty give them a tick or sticker and let them do it or see you do it. If they have an accident then just say "it's ok we can make it up next time". At the end of the week reward them with a toy.

This doesn't have to be expensive something from the charity shop or poundland as they are young they don't understand about the value of money and to be honest they won't even care how much it costs to them it's a toy.
Once they see that they will be rewarded for using the toilet or potty you will notice more changes. Then once you have managed that start taking them further places like to town or a friends house further away.

Try to teach them to hold their self's until you get to where you need to go (only do this once they are fully dry during the day).  If you are going to teach them for night time I wouldn't rush this but a few tips that can help is making them have a last drink before 6PM and no more after.

Before bed time make them go to the toilet, when you go to bed wake them up (I know that sounds hursh but does work) and make them go again. This will pay off and if your child is a deep sleeper remember to wake them during the night.

These tips will work and there will be accidents but remember that is all part of the process.

Let me know how you get on or if you would like any more tips or if you have any questions.

Improving Your Home

Making a house a home can be hard as some people find it costs lots of money. Well infect it really doesn't as you can make it as cheap as you like. There are plenty of places you can go to, to get plenty of things that are really pretty and looks amazing. You can get cheap things for your home from PoundStretcher, B&M Bargains or Home Bargains.

I love these store's and end up spending more than what I go in for, haha. The products are amazing and great value for money. They are a lot cheaper than the leading brands like Homebase or B&Q. You can get anything and everything in these store's for less money. I have brought plenty of items from these store's for my home and very happy with them.

I am also looking forward to returning to finish off buying more items to finish off my dĂ©cor. They also do plenty of things for children including toys, food and items for their bedrooms again I have been buying for my children's rooms and they are brilliant quality. Give these store's a try and make a house a home for much less than you thought you wouldn't be able to do. You wont be disappointed. these store's are great and they will end up being you favourite places to shop for things for your home.

Back to School.

The last few weeks of the summer holidays are always the busiest times, getting the kids back into routine, sorting everything out ready for them to return back to school or even starting school. This is the time we take to start getting everything for them, new school uniform, school bags, lunch boxes, school shoes ect ect. It never gets easier either.

We think that we have everything and hope we haven't forgotten anything. Some of us try to get them everything that others have and that's fine but you really don't need to do that as it cost more money and really they don't need that. You can get really great products for less money and you are also saving yourself money at the same time.

Asda is great to get things for back to school or even Tesco. The main supermarkets are great and they save you money which is also great. Returning back to school or starting school is hard and making it easier is the best way for you and the person that it involved. Starting a new year is hard and very scary for the child and also the parents as well. We all do our bests to help them get through it and help them stay strong and that is all we can do until they are strong enough to do it on their own.

we will be with them every step of the way and help them in any way we can as that is what we do when we are parents.

Bournmouth Air Show

Every year Bournemouth put's on a fanatic show for 4 day's from 18th Aug to 21st Aug. We go every year and really enjoy it and what more it's FREE! They put on the display right on top of the beach so when it's lovely weather it is also a fanatic day out for the family and even friends.
The display is brilliant every year and we are always excided to go. They have all sorts flying and putting on fanatic displays.

They have a funfair spread out along the beach for all ages so there wont be any disappointed children, haha. They even have something for the adults as well. You can buy alcoholic drinks and plenty for food stands to choose from. They have the red arrows flying every year and every year the display is breath taking. It's a great display and Bournemouth County Council does a fanatic job organising it every year.

It also brings a lot of people to the show and it is always busy so planning to get there early is the best option. Also take some chairs with you as you could be standing for a very long time. They also have displays on the beach before the flying takes places so you wont be disappointed. there are lots of video's on YouTube that you can watch to see what it would be like before you go.

The show is a great place to go and spend the day at and also it is a great way to spend time with family and friends.

Loosing Weight

I haven't always been big when I was younger I used to be a size 16. But having children changed that and I love them for it but now I want to lose the weight. We all don't like something about ourselves and some of them we can change. So if you are thinking "how" then it's easy to do and I will be here to help.

There is a lot of things you can do and some people succeed. Some people join groups like slimming world or groups that other people have set up on there own. Some people do it on there own and at home rather than going to a group as they don't have the confidants to go (which is fine). Whatever you want to do you can.

You can use them for you or your whole family. Losing weight isn't just about what you cant eat but also keep in mind that you cant eat to much. Remember to pick a day as a "treat day" which are days that you can forget about your diet and have what you want in reason. Some people pick a Friday or Sunday as their treat days.

Meal planning will help you keep track of what you are eating but remember not to keep it the same every week, change it week to week. Also remember to include you tear days if you are doing one. Excising will help as well but don't over do it and keep it at what you can do. Running up and down stairs for half an hour is good for you. Putting tin cans in pillowcases and using them for weights is good to.

Dancing to music is good as well. If you have a work out dvd then you can always use that and follow the instructions. If you don't you can use the ideas above. I will leave a list of the ideas at the end. Drink plenty of water. If you have a mixer then you can make smoothies they are also very good for you and you can use fresh or frozen fruit. Don't push yourself as nothing will change over night.
Pick a day to weigh yourself every week and remember to log you weight with what you started at and what it is every week. You will in time start to see a difference.

I hope this works for you and don't forget to share with me how you are finding it.

Ideas for home workouts:
  1. Rope or skipping rope.
  2. Tins in a pillowcase.
  3. Running up and down the stairs.
  4. Use bottom of the sofa to do sit ups.
  5. Use chair for half press ups.
  6. Dancing around the house.
  7. Use dvd workouts.

Our Butlins Holiday.

We never went on holiday before because we thought that we wouldn't be able to do it. The first thing that came to our minds were, "it's going to cost to much", "we aren't going to be able to get time off (my partner), "who would look after our dog?" But then we were invited to join our neighbour's (who are also our closest friend's) to join them for the day on their holiday at butlins (Bognor Regis).

So we did, we got there for 11am and met one of our neighbour's at the gate. The kids didn't know what to do when they saw the sign so we went in and met up with the everyone else and had a laugh, chat and the kids played on the rides and in the arcade. The look on their faces was priceless and we really enjoyed it as well.

From the kids faces and from how we felt we decided that we needed to go on holiday, not just for ourselves but for the children as well. So we went home and we couldn't stop talking about our day out and the kids kept asking to go back. So we booked a holiday to butlins but we wanted to try somewhere different, so we choose Minehead resort.

We booked it for May half term as the kids would be off school then and an added bonus diversity would be there. We went self-catering and for standard accommodation. We got to the resort at 3.30pm (which you can arrive on resort from 1pm) but we had to wait until 4pm for our key cards to be active. Which is also good as it give you time to look around the resort or go for a drink, find your accommodation.

Once we got into our apartment we unpacked and gave the kids a drink and snack. We then went out and had a look around and let the kids go into the arcade (the outdoor rides were closed due to bank holiday Monday). We then we and got something to eat as we didn't have anything in the apartment until the next day.

We went with the flow on our holiday but some people like to plan what they are going to do day to day. But we didn't as it was our first holiday and we just wanted to take it day by day. The kids had a brilliant time and we did as well. There was so much to do and at the end of the night the kids were so knackered and every night they went straight to sleep.

Our accommodation was lovely and it was like home from home feel which we loved and we think the kids did to. It was lovely and space wasn't a problem. In the bedrooms there were built in wardrobe's which was big enough to get our suitcases in them so they were out of the way. The kitchen was lovely and big.

It was nothing like what we were expecting as I had read that some people said their accommodation wasn't very good, but ours was very clean and we were very happy with our apartment. We were very that we booked to go again in May 2017 again for May half term. The good thing with butlins is you can do the auto pay which you pick a date that suits you and it will come out of your bank at midnight on that date. You also get a text message reminding you a before. or you can pay over the internet every month when its best for you.

Your holiday has to be paid off in full about 6 weeks before you are due to go on your holiday. I done mine over the internet the first time round but this time I'm doing it via the auto pay and it's so much better and lower cost. Once you have been to butlins for 3 times or more you become a butlins member which gives you 50% off every booking you make through butlins. I cant wait to become a butlins member.

Butlins isn't just for the kids its for families, adults (as they do adults weekends as well). It's for everyone. Once you will go to butlins you will want to go again and again.

Making Egg Mayonnaise

You may get bored from time to time and wonder what to do! I do all the time, after the housework and washing is done. So why not make something that will only about 20-30 minutes to do? So here I will tell you how to make egg mayonnaise in just 20-30 minutes and it was very simple and easy to do!

So here is what you will need:
  • Eggs.
  • Mayonnaise.
  • Salt and Pepper.
  • Bowls.
  • Saucepan.
  1. Ok first fill the saucepan but not all the way to the top. Put it on to the heat. When you start to see at the bottom of the pan start to put in your eggs (please use a spoon).
  2. Leave them to boil for 10-12 minutes (no longer). Take them out and put them into the bowl with cold water and leave them in there for a few minutes.
  3. With a knife carefully crake the egg shell all around. Then pick the shell off with your fingers. Place back into the bowl of water, and do that until all the eggs are done.
  4. Once that is done chop the eggs and place into another bowl, do that until all eggs are chopped.
  5. Once you have done that add a pinch of salt and pepper to the eggs, then add the mayonnaise to the eggs and mix altogether .
  6. Once done put it into a refrigerated bowl or tub (with lid) and use as a side salad or for sandwich's.

Police Investigate Heathrow Security Pass Scam

Sky News has discovered that Scotland Yard is investigating an alleged plot involving airside security passes at the airport.
14:04, UK,Wednesday 10 August 2016
Planes prepare to take off at Heathrow Airport
Scotland Yard has yet to release full details of the investigation

Police are investigating a scam involving airside security passes at Heathrow Airport.

They have arrested two young women, thought to be airport workers.
Heathrow said it had "taken appropriate action" until the police investigation is complete.
Scotland Yard would not reveal details of their suspicions around airside passes, but it is not thought to involve their illegal sale or cloning.
It could be part of a criminal plot - Heathrow was dubbed 'Thiefrow' after a string of thefts - but it will inevitably raise concerns about terrorism.
Kevin Hurley, former head of counter terrorism at the City of London Police, said: "It could be used to get close up to some of the high-value cargo areas and of course we have already had the Brink's Mat saga here once before.
"Billions go through this airport every year. But the real issue is the threat in terms of airport security; this is a potential serious breach for Heathrow Airport."
Lax airside security is thought to have allowed terrorists to put a bomb on a Russian passenger flight that blew up killing all 224 on board shortly after taking off from Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt last year.
Part of the wreckage of the Metrojet plane that crashed in Egypt.

Evidence emerged after the launch a fortnight ago of a Heathrow fraud investigation and the questioning of the two suspects who were arrested on suspicion of fraud and money laundering.
The concern is believed to be around the processing of passes, which are issued to many of the airport's 70,000 workers employed on the airport's airside.

Permanent and temporary passes are given to flight crews, baggage handlers, shop and restaurant staff, hangar and ramp workers, cargo and security employees.
Holders are subject to strict vetting, including five years of employment references without gaps.
When they enter airside they are subject to the same security procedures as passengers, including metal-detector checks and the removal of shoes and belts.
Heathrow, formerly British Airports Authority, said: "We can't comment on the specifics of an ongoing police investigation.
"Our top priority is the security and safety of our passengers and colleagues and we have taken appropriate action until the investigation is completed."
British passport

The Department for Transport said: "We are aware of this issue. Safety and security of passengers is our priority.
"We keep aviation security under constant review, but as this matter is the subject of an ongoing police investigation we are unable to comment further at this time."
Scotland Yard said it arrested two women, aged 24 and 20, last week and bailed them until November.

Ashton-under-Lyne house explosion leaves several injured

Media captionThe facade of the house has been completely destroyed

At least 10 people were injured in a suspected gas explosion at a house in Greater Manchester.
The blast caused the terraced house in Ashton-under-Lyne to collapse at both the front and back, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said.
Three people inside suffered "severe lacerations and burns" while others suffered minor injuries, firefighters said. They were taken to hospital.
Neighbours in Curzon Road said they heard the explosion at about 04:45 BST.

It is understood a number of those injured were neighbours who had come to help the three trapped in the house.

Fire service incident commander Alan Ashworth said a man, woman and their adult daughter lived at the property and had dialled 999 after their smoke alarm went off.
"We were on our way to the fire when the explosion happened," he said.
More updates from this story and others in Greater Manchester.

Nearby resident Carmel O'Neill said: "It was about quarter to five and we heard this big, massive explosion.
"I just saw loads and loads of smoke in the air."
Another resident Charlotte Lisle, who lives a few streets away, said her home "shook" with the blast.
"It was like a bomb went off - it woke the whole street.
"There were proper high flames."

'Screaming'

She added she saw the family who lived in the house in the street.
"They were in a mess, they were screaming."
A woman called Leanne who told the BBC her parents lived in the house said: "My mum and dad got out the window [and my] sister got out on the roof.
"Don't know their injuries yet - they're all in hospital and they're all stable."
Leanne, who lives nearby, said the whole house was a "mess and everything was lost... but they're all right".

It is still the scene of a major operation here.
There is smoke billowing out of what used to be a mid-terraced house - the front and back wall completely destroyed and most of the roof as well.
It has also damaged properties either side - bricks have fallen out of the right-hand side property. There is a big hole in the roof and the glass has been blown out of the windows of the adjacent properties as well.
The air is thick with the smell of smoke.

Gas and electricity supplies have been turned off at the house and four neighbouring properties. The roof of the house next door has been badly damaged.
Mr Ashworth, said: "We had one person who brought a mattress for one of the casualties to get out.
"We have stabilising equipment on both sides of the building as there is a potential risk of collapse. We are aware of two collapses so far and therefore are trying to prevent another. Therefore the cordon and road closures will remain in place for now."

The North West Ambulance service said one patient was taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary, another to Wythenshawe Hospital and others to Tameside General Hospital.
Other casualties admitted themselves to hospital.
Curzon Road, Whiteacre Road and Clinton Street are all closed and people have been asked to avoid the area if possible.
Police and firefighters are carrying out a joint investigation into the blast which is believed to have been caused by gas.

Christopher Biggins apologises for Celebrity Big Brother Holocaust 'joke' - but defends comments about bisexuals

Ejected Celebrity Big Brother contestant Christopher Biggins has apologised for his Holocaust “joke” aimed at a Jewish housemate.
Biggins was booted out of the Channel 5 reality show after being given three warnings by Big Brother for his remarks on bisexuality and for a comment about gas chambers.
Katie Waissel
But in an interview in The Sun on Sunday, he stood by his comments that Aids was “a bisexual disease”, adding: “I said there were a lot of bisexuals who went to these (third world) countries and had sex and then took it back to their wives or lovers and gave them the virus.
“That’s what I’ve read and that’s what I believe.”
The pantomime veteran and actor, 67, received a warning on Friday after he made controversial statements on bisexuality and Aids during a conversation with house mates Aubrey O’Day and Renee Graziano.
A comment that Biggins made to Katie Waissel about the Jewish community was also part of the reason he was removed (Channel 5)
He said that homosexuals had been blamed for the rise of the “killer disease” but he thought it “was a bisexual disease, if I’m honest”.
Graziano said she had been told by an unnamed former CIA agent that “they gave it (Aids) to kill off third world countries,” which Biggins agreed with, stating he thought it was “man-made”.
Biggins then said: “There were a lot of bisexuals who went to those countries and had sex with those people and brought it back to their own families in America and that’s how it became a worldwide disease.”
The conversation was between Renee and Biggins (Channel 5)

This followed an earlier incident where Biggins told Graziano: “I think the worst type is the bisexuals, what it is is people not wanting to admit they are gay.”
Speaking after his removal from the house, he commented: “I know a lot of bisexuals and they’re very nice people. But I think they do f*** up a lot of relationships.”
He was also reprimanded earlier in the week for making comments about the Holocaust to X Factor reject Katie Waissel, who is Jewish.
As housemates queued for the bathroom on Monday in a moment which was not broadcast, Biggins admits to having said: “You better be careful or they’ll be putting you in a shower and taking you to a room.”
Christopher Biggins is seen entering the Celebrity Big Brother house at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Herfordshire (Ian West/PA).
Admitting that the remark was about the Nazis and gas chambers, he said: “I suppose I was, yes. But it didn’t occur to me that’s what I was referring to.”
He added: “I am mortified by what’s happened, really mortified. Most of my friends, in fact, are Jewish. I apologised to Big Brother and Katie.”
Biggins said he had apologised to Katie in person after being given a warning by Big Brother, and was sorry for his “trite, ridiculous remark”.
Big Brother called Biggins into the Diary Room on Friday and noted his third use of “unacceptable language”, which left them with “no choice” but to remove him from the house.
Christopher Biggins was picked as secret boss
“I’m very sorry and I’m very sad,” he responded.
The actor could now lose out on his £150,000 appearance fee, according to reports in The Sunday Star, as he broke the rules.
After leaving the house, Biggins thanked fans on Twitter for their “kindness and support”.
His agent, Jonathan Shalit, also said on Twitter: “I have been close friends with Biggins for 20 yrs. If he caused offence am certain not his intention. Biggins is a much loved wonderful man.”

P.S I think that the comments that were made were totally out of order and they should never had been said.

P.S.S If anyone would like to discuss anyone this I am here to give advice and to listen to.

Being A Reviewer

I wanted to get more out of my blog and thought what can I do? So I went and searched the Internet and loads of reviewers came up. I thought "oh what does this in tail." So I had a look around and read some information about it and found out that it was about reviewing products and giving my own feedback on them.

Great! I thought I can do that as I love buying things and sitting at home thinking about what I thought of them. So I signed up to a few and I felt great I can't wait to start this. Then I found out something even better, the products you review you also get to keep.

Even better I thought what more could you ask for. So I've joined up with two different types of reviews and they are am review trader and product testers. I am waiting to get products to review from them but also willing to try others.
I
f you can tell me what others use or yourselves I will be happy to have a look at them. I am also open to new ideas and always willing to give them a try.
I would love to get my blog off the ground and find ways of doing it. I am also thinking about getting my own channel on YouTube to boost my blog.

If anyone has any ideas please share them with me as I like listening to other people ideas and giving them a go.

Until next time.

Breastfeeding in public

It has been all over the TV and social media about women feeding their babies in public but not just any sort of feeding, the most natural thing in the world, breastfeeding! I for one can't understand why so many people have a problem with it.

It's the most natural thing that a women can do for their babies. People can sit in a park or anywhere in public and eat their lunch or anything they might have and not have a worry but if a women starts feeding her baby they get stared at, talking under there breath or even approached and asked to stop doing that, go somewhere else or even cover up.

WHY? Why should they go somewhere else or stop feeding there baby or cover up because the person don't like it. Shell that mother then let her baby cry their eyes out and have to to wait for there feed until it is somewhere where she isn't going to be talked about.

The same thing can be said about men walking around without a top on. Should we go and ask them to put a top back on or talk about them under our breath? No we wouldn't because it is natural and we wouldn't expect them to but for some unknown reason it's ok for people to do it to a mum.

I really want to hear your opinions on this one and see how many people are in agreement with me on this one. I am a mum to 3 children and for reasons I won't go into I couldn't breastfeed my children and I was gutted as it's the best thing for a mother to do for their children.

I think that any mother should be able to feed their baby wherever they need to without any one telling them to stop or cover up. I'm sorry buy it's a baby on a breast what is wrong with that? In my book absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Please leave your comments below. I would love to hear your views on this blog.

Review for poundstretcher

We all make our houses a home and my favourite place to go to for bargains is poundstretcher, you can get brilliant products for your home for less money.
We wanted something for our bathroom as we don't have any storage so I went for this lovely looking 3 tier storage, I love the chrome affect it has and the trays are very big for you to put more stuff on them.

Once it has been put together it is very big. Unfortunately it is to big to sit on my bath (where it is meant to go). But I love it anyway and I will find a way to use it.
It is brilliant quality and great for money as it was only £9.99 was originally  £12.99 so it is a bargain. You can get a lot of things for grear value for money at these store.

Review for B&Q. Stand up fan

Because of the weather being so hot we have found it hard to keep the house cool for the children and sky (the dog).

We went to our local hardware store (B & Q) to get a fan. We found a stand up fan for only £16 we are very happy with the product and it has definitely helped to keep the house cool in this hot weather.

The fan has really helped and the house isn't like an oven anymore. If I was asked "where can I get a fan from" I would definitely recommend B&Q.
I would most definitely buy another one of these.

Here is the link to buy this fan.

School holidays

We all hate it when the kids break up from school even more so when it's the 6 weeks holiday's. We start thinking what to do with then so they don't get bored!
Well when we put our mind's to it there is a lot to do with them, then we think about how much it's going to cost!

Well if we really think about it we can keep the cost down but still have plenty for them to do. Here are some idea's.

• Swimming pool - If the weather is nice you can get the swimming pool out in the garden. They will have hours of fun in there and it passes the time away but also still have happy kids.

• Water Frights - Again as long as the weather is nice get the kids out into the garden or the front of the house and into old clothes (let's face it we don't want them to ruin there new clothes). Invite friends round the more people the better. Full up buckets or bottles and let them have a whale of a time.

• Park - Going to the park doesn't cost anything and they are having fun. Make a picnic to take with you so they can have fun as well as eat at the same time.

• Going to the beach - Taking them to the beach is also fun buy for all the family. If the weather is nice and hot remember to take their swimwear with you. They will have fun playing in the sand or cobbles but also have fun in the sea to.

• Chalk - You can buy a big tub of chalk's from you local pound land  let the kids go wild and do drawings numbers or even letters on the ground or any where you would like them to.

• Making a den - Let the have fun inside the house and give them old bedding and help them make a den and let there imagination run wild.

• Broad Games - On them rainy days (as we live on Britain) get the old Broad games out and gave fun playing them. To make it even more fun the winner could a prize.
There is loads you can do and also keep the cost down. You can also gave days out or even have a bbq and invite people round.
When we really think about it, there is a lot that you can do to keep the kids happy. And let's face it happy kids = happy parents.

Living with Mental Health

We all know that the world can be cruel in many way's but when it come's to our children it's the worst thing ever! We find ourselves looking for answer's that we don't know if we will ever find them. We also start looking to point the finger at!
But is this the way we should handle thing's? Maybe, maybe not but we can't help ourselves from doing it as it's a natural reaction to do so.

My son has ADHD and living with it is hard! We don't love him any other way but we are learning different thing's each and everyday. It's hard as my son doesn't open up to his feeling's.
But him knowing that we are there for him likes to make me think that he will be able to come and talk to us at any time. His mental Health get's in the way of his school life a lot and it's hard for him to sit in class without doing something that will get him into trouble.

When he is at home we try different thing's that he want to do to try and help him understand what his Mental Health is like. We answer any question's he may have to the best of our ability. His Mental Health comes with a lot of appointments so talking to him a few day's before help's him build up any question's he may want to ask while we are there.

He doesn't cope well without a routine (and we find having a routine help's) and doesn't like it when it is suddenly changed.
He likes thing's to be in places that he puts them in and doesn't like it if it's changed (we stay out of his room). Because of his Mental Health problems it's hard to go out and about without him restacking the shelf's in the shopper markets or wondering off and not staying with us.

People always judge before knowing what is really going on and that is natural but it also wind us up as well as they don't know what is wrong with that child/ren.
But what I am saying is whatever they have it doesn't make them any less of a person then we are and they should always remember that (easier said than done I know). They are their own special person and we love them nonetheless.

My first blog

I have started blogging to tell people my views on things to do with family, the home and lifestyle. At first I was thinking should I or shouldn't I but I though why not. so that's why I wanted to start blogging. I will tell you about reviews on thing and places I go to also give advice as best as I can. I will also give you tips on things as well. I will include picture to my blogs that relate to what I'm talking about.

We can also shared each others ideas and meet friends as well. I can also talk about TV programme's and give my views on that. I hope that people will understand what my blogs will be about and not just stick to one thing (as that can get boring). People like to know about more than one thing and hopefully I can give that to them.
I feel that review and advice always helps me, when I look at something on the internet I always read the reviews before making my mind up as to get it or not as hearing what someone else says about something helps me think if it what I want.

We have just started going on holiday so I will be abled to talk about them as well just so you know what's it like and see if its for you or not. I love reading comments so please leave as many comments as you want and I will always answer them.
I hope you will have fun reading my blogs and I look forward to talking back to you. Until the next blogs. Speak soon.
